Case Study: Crawford House

Scheme Description: The existing building was used as offices, in a residential street in Chingford.  The owner of the building obtained planning permission to convert the existing structure into 5 new residential units.

 

The existing structure is to house 3 of the new units, extensions to side rear and roof space are enabling the inclusion of 2 further units maximising the space available.

Case Study: London Fields Lido

Scheme Description: Since re-opening in October 2006, London Fields Lido has become increasingly popular, particularly during the summer months, and is a much loved local asset.  Last year the Lido welcomed over 198,000 visitors with many customers commenting on the reduced opening hours during the autumn and winter months, as a result of nights drawing in and the lack of natural light, which prevents swimming all year round.

 

We are proud to have been selected to undertake the installation of floodlights and lighting the main pool to extend its use earlier in the day and later in the evening in order to improve programme opportunities and increase participation. There are few Lidos left in Greater London and we are extremely proud to be able to use our skillset to improve one of the few remaining for the benefit of the local community who use the facility.

Case Study: Judd Street, Toilet Uplift

Client: British Telecom

 

Scheme Description: Etec were instructed to carry out survey and provide scope to uplift the 3rd floor male and female facilities. All works were carried out during normal working hours, extra attention was made to noise and dust throughout the construction phase.

 

We striped out the existing vinyl floor and wall tiles, altered the services to suit the new layout, removed the ceiling tiles cleaned the grids and installed new tiles, we installed new wall tiles, laid new screed to floors and installed new polysafe vinyl floor along with new cubicles, mirrors, wc’s sinks etc.  We completed the works on time and within our clients budget.

Case Study: Harlow Leisure Centre

Scheme Description: This exciting scheme incorporated the installation of an indoor climbing facility along with a refresh of some ancillary spaces.

 

Climbing walls are fast becoming one of the most popular indoor and outdoor activities. This is the first of several leisure centres where we are introducing this exciting activity.

Scheme Description: This property was purchased by our client, with a view to maximizing the properties potential, in terms of land and location.  The property was significantly extended and then subject to a high end fit out which has been completed to an exceptional standard.

Scheme Description: We are currently on site constructing a new build residential

development which was a former cinema / warehouse building, which has
